This course is intended to enrich students with a variety of issues and current research works in applied linguistics. The first half of the semester is devoted for the discussion of the former, while the second half for the latter. Students are encouraged to search other works on a topic of their interest, which they can select out of the various topics provided in the learning sources. By the end of the course, the students may take the benefit of their exposure to a number of latest research works in applied linguistics for the dissertation writing.
