This course is intended to prepare students to become teachers of English for Specific Purposes (ESP). In this course, students are trained to conduct observations to gather information of the English language used in various units of a specific field, such as banking, tourism, hospitality and any other fields. They learn how to design instruments to gather the linguistic data needed for teaching English in a specific field. Throughout the course, students are equipped with the skills to compile, interpret, present, and produce an observation report from the obtained information.
